This bilingual course International Business Studies will prepare you for an international middle management position in the world of e-commerce.

As an e-commerce manager, you are responsible for several projects. You manage marketing strategies and are responsible for both online and offline sales of products and services. Also, you will build, expand and maintain your own network. During this course, you will learn to design and build an online shop.

What will the study be like?

The International Business Studies course is a 3-year full-time education.

Year 1: You will follow general business subjects. During the first year, you will choose your specialisation: international e-commerce or international business.
Year 2: You start with an internship during the first half of the year. For the rest of this year, we will focus on learning digital analytics and the digital customer journey.
Year 3: The first half of the year you start with focussing on digital marketing activities, sales and develop an indepth knowledge about marketing. You complete your third year and your course with a second internship.

Admission & acquaintance
You are always welcome to enrol in one of our intermediate vocational courses if you have completed your general secondary education. Your [prior education] determines the level you can enrol in. This course has additional requirements.
If you do not have a pre-vocational secondary school diploma, nor a document issued by your higher general secondary school that shows you have passed year 3 then you will not be able to apply. To be successful in this course we recommend a pass mark of 7 for English.
Introductory activities
This course requires you to participate in certain introductory activities. You will receive more information about these activities after you apply for enrolment.
Tuition / course fees
Apart from the legally determined [tuition/course fees] (established by the Ministry of Education), you will have to take into account additional costs for learning materials and perhaps some extras.
Learning materials
For most courses, you will need books. Depending on your course, you might also need special software or clothing. For this course, you will need to have your own laptop.

Extras that are not mandatory
All curriculums are designed to help you enter the labour market as well prepared as possible. This may mean that we organize field trips or master classes for which you will have to pay an additional charge. We also believe it is important for you to buy your own tools or devices so that you can practise after school hours.
We keep the costs as low as possible without compromising quality. Any additional costs are determined in consultation with the student representative board. If the costs are a problem and you need help, there are several forms of financial support.
